Movie and why it is matter?

“Every time I go to a movie, it’s magic, no matter what the movie’s about”, that is an inspirational quote of Steven Spielberg and I am absolutely empathy with him. Different movies will have different messages, that’s why I believe there is no terrible movie, is just depends on our perspectives. Perceived of this marvelous point, I start to dream about making one. However, I am not dreaming about an “Oscar movie”, my desire is to make a movie which can widely reach people’s hearts and spreading Vietnamese’s culture to audience from around the world. In a nutshell, movie is the kind of media that I crave for.

Why movie is what I leaning toward?

Movie is a combination of many factors which can highly attach to people’s senses. To make a completed cinematic work, the movie-maker have to guarantee that the visual, acting, sounds and music are well-organized so that it can wholly convey its messages to the audience. These factors make movie mostly different from other kind of media. Especially, music is extremely important for a movie, for example in “La la land (2016)”, the song “City of stars” was played when Mia and Sebastian finally fell in love, had pushed the audience’s emotion to climax, they truly feel a passionate love between two characters:

“I don’t care if I know

Just where I will go

Cause all that I need’s this crazy feeling

A rat-tat-tat on my heart….

Think I want it to stay”

Music guides our emotions smoothly. Associate with the suitable background, it all become a perfect harmony.

Futhermore, movie is a bridge which connect people to life that they never have a chance to experience. You may say that “we can also experience other’s life with books, too”. Nevertheless, in my perspective, movie is better in this case since “A picture worth a thousand words”. Observing people by our eyes, hearing them talking together, together with sound effects, the story will be delivered more insightly, it will be bold in viewers’ mind.

Last but not least, movie is the best way to spread culture. Different countries definitely having different ways to tell their story through screenplay, for example, Indian love using slow-motion in their movie to express the tension, while American prefer using short scences, fast tempo acts to push the climax. Moreover, when we listening to the soundtrack, the conversation in their languages and watching their behavior, it really bring us the vibe of their countries, from this point, their culture slowly instill in our mind.

My love for movie is immense, I am not the one who watch the most movie neither a film specialist, but I believe with my passion, I can learn much more in this area, as well as, making a movie that touch audience’s soul and convey a beautiful messages to people.
